Today, players born in 2004 graduated from the CSKA Hockey School. The event was held in the CSKA ice arena.
Under the guidance of coach Vladimir Kramskoy, the team became the champion of Russia three times in their age group. In the 2020/21 season, the CSKA team won the Open Championship of the City of Moscow. At the end of the season, ten graduates signed professional contracts with CSKA.
The president of the CSKA professional hockey club Igor Esmantovich welcomed the players and thanked the players, their parents and the coaching staff.
- I really hope that when you leave our school, you will remember your coaches, principal, club, you will remember this time with warmth, with the desire to fight, to get better and be in the public eye. I wish you to be real CSKA players, " said Igor Vyacheslavovich.
The event was also attended by the club's sports director, Evgeny Lozhkin, and the school's director, Alexey Deyev.
- It's one of our best graduations," said Alexei. - The 2004 team is a three-time champion of Russia. I hope that all of the hockey players will stay for long in the MHL teams at this point, maybe in the SHL as well The team is competitive, and if you take each hockey player individually, they're pretty strong guys who can make a good career.
The 2020/21 season was tough. Our school is the only one in Moscow that fully completed the planned training camp. Despite the fact that the start of the season shifted and it turned out to be short, all teams played well. Of the eight playing ages, we have six first places and two second ones. I think this is a very good result.
