The CSKA ARENA hosted the hockey school graduation

Last season, CSKA won the Moscow Schools Competition for the fifth time in a row, repeating its own record from ten years ago. Moreover, the school has also won another unique achievement: the CSKA hockey players have won all three Moscow Cups in the younger age groups (2010, 2011, 2012), as well as the Moscow Federation Cup among 2013 teams. No school had ever managed to collect four of these cups before.

The ceremony was attended by school director Alexey Deyev, CSKA Supervisory Board member Pavel Bure, club sports director Denis Denisov, renowned Soviet ice hockey players Alexander Volchkov and Yuri Blinov, as well as current Gagarin Cup winners with CSKA and CSKA trainees Andrey Svetlakov and Matvey Guskov.

The finale of the ceremony was honoring graduates born in 2005 (coach - Igor Zelenchev). Hockey players were awarded with silver medals of the Moscow Open Championship, certificates of graduation from the CSKA Hockey School and souvenirs. Three players also received individual awards for the season: Maxim Velikov won the award for the top scorer, goalkeeper Timofey Obvintsev was named the most valuable player, and Ruslan Mulin was named the soul of the team. Forward Georgy Ovchinnikov made a speech on behalf of the team, the event ended with a joint photo on the ice arena.
