Kirill Pafifov: The school's overall victory is a sign of prestige for our club

Kirill Pafifov, Director of the CSKA Hockey School, summarized the performance of the Army students during the closing ceremony of the FHM season. As a reminder, our school won the overall Moscow Championship, and CSKA teams took first place in several age groups.

- What does this victory mean for CSKA?

- It means a lot. It signifies the prestige of our school, our club. All the work that goes into it is not in vain. The children produce results, the children progress, and are selected for the Moscow team, the Russian national team. And then, of course, they move up the ranks to the youth team, the major league, and finally the first team.

- How did the CSKA Hockey School become the best at the end of the 2025-2026 season?

- Thanks to our management, our president, Igor Vyacheslavovich Esmantovich, and our sports director, Denis Valerievich Denisov, who inquires about all the school's results every day. So, we're very grateful to them. We're also grateful to our company, Rosneft, for creating all the conditions for us. The children have the opportunity to train for free, receive free uniforms, and the parents are relieved of all the burden. And our children are developing, achieving positive results, and thus progressing. So, for this, we're very grateful to our entire management.

- What can you say about your interactions with the hockey players?

- There are about 500 children at our school. We know them all; we're at the arena every day, we see them every day, watch practices and games, communicate, and hold meetings. We have excellent relationships with everyone. The children give their all, and that's why they win the biggest awards and places. The younger children play for the older age groups and also achieve results. We're like one big family.
