The CSKA team approached the match with Dynamo Minsk with big changes in the roster. Maxim Sorkin hit the crossbar from the zero angle and made the score 3:1, and a minute later Vasily Dronyk scored the first goal in the KHL, correcting Klasson's throw. The final score was set by Mikhail Grigorenko, scoring the fifth goal — 1:5.
