We take two points in Minsk

The CSKA team approached the match with Dynamo Minsk with big changes in the roster. From the location of the national team, only Nikita Nesterov, Vladislav Provolnev and Mikhail Grigorenko reached the capital of Belarus. From the youth team, striker Maxim Kirileichenko received a call to CSKA, as well as defender of Zvezda Roman Kalinichenko.

In the first period, the teams had many moments in the game in unequal compositions. Andrey Svetlakov, Mikhail Grigorenko and Vladislav Kamenev had good chances of success among the CSKA men. There were moments for the hosts, but the goalkeepers played flawlessly — 0:0 after 20 minutes of the game.

After the break, Minsk residents were a little luckier. In the 27th minute of the match, Pavel Varfolomeev opened the scoring and put the hosts ahead. Soon Maxim Sorkin could have equalized, but Shostak played extremely reliably. The CSKA continued to press on the gates of Dynamo and earned a large numerical advantage. Sean Lalonde got 4+20 for hitting with a stick. The return goal came when no one was waiting for it. A second before the end of the period, Andrey Svetlakov equalized the score in his 400th match in the KHL - 1:1.

The third period started perfectly for CSKA. Tahir Mingachev led the CSKA team forward in the power play. For a long time the advantage was minimal, but from the 55th minute CSKA broke through. Maxim Sorkin hit the crossbar from the zero angle and made the score 3:1, and a minute later Vasily Dronyk scored the first goal in the KHL, correcting Klasson's throw. The final score was set by Mikhail Grigorenko, scoring the fifth goal — 1:5.
