Ilya Vorobyov, CSKA head coach:
- Good and fast game, high tempo. In the first period, of course, we missed in the minority, but we still got back on track. The second period was good, and then we played solidly to win.
- In the episode with the canceled puck Nikita Nesterov moved the goal. How do you evaluate this moment? How useful was it for the team?
- Useful, if you put it that way. It could not have come to that. If we went back a little bit so that this moment did not happen, it would have been more useful.
- You have an interesting history with Torpedo - you lost only once. What influences CSKA's game with Torpedo? At the beginning of the game, they were biting today.
- The opposing team's attitude was off the charts. What influences? We worked out our game plan. The task that we set for the guys, they fulfilled today.
- There are eight games left before the playoffs. The team is ready physically for the games, how much of a foundation is being laid? How much do you analyze game schemes at trainings and apply them in games?
- We have started to analyze the game schemes since July. That's why we work for eight more games. All the time we want to be better. What we need to adjust, we adjust in the training process. Video, work on physics. The work is going on.
Igor Larionov, Torpedo head coach:
- I congratulate the opponent with the victory. A good match, I hope the audience enjoyed it. There was a full house today. That's what our hockey is good for - when you play with heart, from the bottom of your heart, you get such bright matches. Unfortunately, one disappointment - the result, the fact that we leave empty-handed. But nothing. We'll be back!
- The moment when at first the referee pointed to the goal, but then it was realized that the goal was moved. Did the fact that you couldn't realize the majority affect the game?
- I think not. That penalty, which was quite controversial, had an impact. We've already had such a story with Spartak, but I don't want to take it any further. What we say always goes financially back to us. You can't realize every majority. The guys played a good game, it would have been great to score two power play goals, but we're glad we scored one. We played against a good and quite experienced team. In this regard, I'm glad that with the score at 1-3 after two periods, we found the strength to play the hockey we're used to, to move the puck and create scoring chances. They were enough to even the score, but, unfortunately, good play of the goalie did not allow us to do it.
- In the end Bogdan Konyushkov lost a run to Denis Guryanov, which led to the fourth puck. How can you explain that?
- You know, I don't think he lost it. If you break that moment down and look at it carefully, and compare it to the penalty we got when we got the goal, same moment. Even maybe a lot more obvious. That, I believe, is also some kind of foul. Baga plays a lot of the game. It's understandable that it's a lot of pressure on a player. But you can't say that he was outpaced in terms of speed. But there was a competent tackle, which the referees should see. Unfortunately, in those emotions, in that game, they could not see the violation. But what is, is. We have no other.
