In the match against one of the League’s outsiders CSKA’s captain was Pavel Karnaukhov – first time in his career. And his brother Mikhail was Dinamo’s starting goalie. In the end of the first period Kirill Kaprizov opened the score, and in the second CSKA scored twice more after good passing in Dinamo’s zone. Scorers were Mario Kempe and Kaprizov again.
Dinamo didn’t want to lose another game and was able to upset CSKA’s goalkeeper Lars Johansson but it was their last good episode. Soon Maxim Mamin scored the fourth goal, and the game was over – 1:4.
