CSKA takes revenge in the Moscow derby

Contrary to the expectations of the CSKA fans, the match began with a quick goal by the hosts. In the second minute, the red and white fell out "two in one" at the goal of CSKA: Adam Reideborn coped with the first throw, but Kirill Kozhevnikov was accurate at finishing. The CSKA team got a real chance to even the score in the middle of the first period. At first, Maxim Krovyakov received two minutes for a delay with a stick, and as soon as the young striker returned to the ice, his partner, Artem Serikov, already left. CSKA could not take advantage of such a gift from an opponent, and then it was close to missing again. Four and a half minutes before the end of the first period, the CSKA team received the third power play, but Maxim Sorkin violated the rules when drawing an extra one. The fans did not see more goals in the first period – 1-0 in favor of Spartak.

The second period started perfectly for CSKA. The CSKA team closed the hosts in the zone, and after a cool transfer by Andrei Svetlakov from behind the goal, Vitaly Abramov got over Krasikov's shoulder! Less than two minutes have passed, and CSKA has already come forward through the efforts of Pavel Karnaukhov. But then an accident brought equality to the scoreboard, after a series of ricochets, the puck went into the Reideborn goal — 2:2. This annoying goal did not break CSKA. At the end of the period, Konstantin Okulov broke through to Krasikov's goal, threw, and Tahir Mingachev did a great job on finishing – 2:3. So the CSKA turned the game around and went on a break in the lead.

After the break, the score remained unchanged for a long time. But at the right moment, CSKA's power play worked out. Provolnev, Grigorenko and Plotnikov drew the Spartak zone: Sergey completed an excellent combination — 2:4. CSKA took a convincing revenge in the Moscow derby!

The CSKA team will play the next match on the road on November 20 at 17:00 against Vityaz.
