— The opponent won, in general, they played with the puck fast, great, they managed to score. We controlled the game for the first two periods, there were small mistakes in the defense zone, until the third period, when we scored an important fourth goal. Then we couldn't cope with emotions, with three goals we controlled the puck in our zone, and gave it to the opponent. And the opponent ended all these moments with pucks shot. An overtime followed, and then everything happened as it happened. Positionally, we lost a little and got an unnecessary goal. Therefore, in fact, we have already managed to see something about why and how we were score, but this will remain inside our team, inside the coaching staff. Unfortunately, we could not push the matter through to the victory, although we had every chance. As for the rest, the guys worked well, they played the right game, but the end of the third period did not work out individually. The worst thing is that we owned the puck, it disturbs and upsets. If we didn't own the puck and the opponent beat us, then it had been something else. But when we own the puck in our zone, looking forward to the field, the forwards are open and we make unnecessary movements, lose the puck to our blue line and get three unnecessary goals. That’s all right! We'll work it out, this is part of our program, so we are preparing for the next game on the road. It will be a good test for us, I think we will fix everything. — Not all the way, perhaps. I must say that CSKA is a powerful team, both physically and in terms of skill. Of course, it was not easy for us to contain the attacks, there were mistakes. What matters here is not how many mistakes you make, but how much the partners are willing to correct these mistakes. And everything worked out for us there, the whole team played. Today I cannot say that the two periods were equal. Probably, in the third period we took control of the puck, stopped shooting back, it became interesting to play in attack. Plus, our video coach helped us count the puck, right after a quick goal scored. It helped us to recoup and put the game into overtime.
— The fans said after the game that they were very surprised, after the shot by Mikhailis. Did you see such notes in your team today that surprised you, or was there nothing new?
— I will say this, we played a very good match in Kazan, if your question is widely answered, and there we missed a ridiculous goal, having a good advantage, playing well with the puck, in attack against a fairly powerful team. We missed it in the power play. Of course, we were upset. We also had a good game with Dynamo, the second period was no better than today's one with CSKA, but we failed to score, failed to win in the main time or in the overtime. And today we scored goals, we managed to score something that we did not mange to do in the match with Kazan and Dynamo. Defeat always nails you down a little, and when you lose, you cling to goals.
