Losing in the Moscow derby

Statistic

Saturday's Moscow derby was held with great spectator interest. 10,203 — that was the number of fans who came to watch the match between CSKA and Dynamo. It didn't take long for the first goal. Andrey Mironov, the captain of the blue and white team, received two minutes for the game with a high stick, and Takhir Mingachev left the ice with the help of doctors. The response to that was found by the captain of CSKA Nikita Nesterov — 1:0. In the ninth minute of the match, the CSKA player shot the puck from the blue line, and the puck went straight into the goal — a winning edge of CSKA by the first break.

In the second period, the game calmed down a bit. The hosts had a doubled power play — Darren Dietz and Artem Sergeev were dismissed. But CSKA stood out, and also had its chances. However, the score remained unchanged after 40 minutes of play.

In the third period, thanks to Ilya Kablukov, Dynamo equalized the score. Aleksandr Sharychenkov was very confident in the goal cage of CSKA. Largely thanks to his game, the teams went into overtime, which did not reveal the winner. Yet in the shootout series, Dynamo were luckier. Losing in the derby.
