Game against Amur in Habarovsk was the first in KHL for the young goalie Vsevolod Skotnikov, who made a solid perfomance with 20 saves and a win. 19-year-old forward Takhir Mingachev also had a debut in this game, playing almost 8 minutes.

On the second minute of the game score was opened. Nikita Korostelev scored in power play. Soon CSKA captain Sergey Andronov doubled advantage, and in the second period Konstantin Okulov made the score 3:0.

Amur was able to score once, but it was not enough to come back. CSKA scored twice more and got another win. Maxim Shalunov's goal was his 100th in KHL.
