Came off two goals, but lost in a shootout

CSKA opened December with a home matchup against the Ufa Salavat Yulaev, which the army team will soon face off. The opening minutes were dumping for our team. Ufa capitalized on the power play, and CSKA also lost Maxim Sorkin, who was injured after a hard hit. The offensive play was getting low in the first period, but after the break the army team picked up the pace and began to create more chances. The game began to wrap up, the army men continued to create chances, but Salavat's fast forwards also constantly threatened Gamzin's goal. The game draged into overtime where CSKA players missed several excellent chances to score the winning goal.
