- We have discussed all details. But now I don't want to reveal all of them. The offer was good and respectful, so I agreed.
- CSKA's lineup is changing, but the team still will be one of the season favorites.
- That's right. For many years CSKA has been Top-3 teams in KHL. They won the championship, and I expect tp repeat that success in the upcoming year. I want to take part in playoffs for the first time in my career.
- You've never played in KHL before. Are you afraid?
- Yes, I am. But, as I've heard, they will reduce size of the fields, so I should get comfortable soon.
- Will it be hard to return after so many years in North America? Didn't you become too much American during that time?
- Yes, a little bit. Yesterday I talked with my friend in English, after that it was hard to speak Russian. But now it's easier than straight after return.
- Don't you regret not returning in KHL last summer?
- I've thought about that. Now it's late to regret. Last season was not bad for me. It's always interesting to watch other teams. So, why not?
- In AHL you collected points in almost every game. Was it hard to motivate yourself after playing for the Canucks in NHL?
- Yes, it was. I was upset. I was not expecting that. Last summer I signed one-way contract and thought that after a good season I will sigh another one. But it didn't go according to my plan.
- What are you expecting from new trainer and team?
- I'm not familiar with the trainer yet. I hope we will understand each other. Also I hope that my new teammates will accept me well, and we will win together. I will try hard not to disappoint our fans.
