Sergeev spent six seasons as a member of the CSKA club. He played for the team from 2015 to 2018, and after returning to CSKA in 2020, he won the Gagarin Cup twice (2022, 2023). In total, the defender played 479 matches in the KHL and scored 84 (17 +67) points.
