Yaroslav Dyblenko: The team came ready for training camp

CSKA defender Yaroslav Dyblenko told about the training camp in Minsk.

— A few days of packing are over. How do the workouts go, what are the feelings?

— The training is going well, we are all involved. The team came ready for the training camp. Everyone understands everything, everybody is a professional. There are no problems with physical fitness and, accordingly, the loads are heavier, since the team looks very good and is ready for them.

— Is there any fatigue during the gym, for example?

— It is unlikely that fatigue has accumulated in four days. We had already trained a lot before, we were in working mode. Good recovery, good sleep, proper nutrition helps. Due to this, it is possible to spend a fruitful day.

— In the current offseason, there are a lot of discussions in the sports media about the principles of team preparation. For example, whether long, exhausting races are needed. What is your opinion on this?

— I will say that we have a very well-chosen coaching staff. Including specialists in physical training. The guys understand that we don't have to take the Cooper test, fartlek, and so on. There are much more diverse workouts that are more useful in our profession. We do this, we show results in the season — so it's not necessary to rush around the field in the heat, to experience enormous loads. The main thing is to build the right training process to replace it all.

— When there was football at training, you said that you would not play in the field. You immediately went to the goals. Why?

— Firstly, I haven't played football for a long time. For me, this is a more dangerous sport, a lot of collisions. I'd better be at the goals, at the last line of defense, catching the ball. This position is less dangerous for me. I used to play in the field, but it's been a long time.

— How do you relax in your free time from constant training?

— I brought a PlayStation with me, I play games, watch TV shows. I intended to go for a walk in the evening, but it was raining. I think I'll have a chance to walk before going to bed on the next sunny day.
