CSKA HC has reached an agreement to sign a one-year contract with 28-year-old Slovak defender Christian Jaros.
Jaros previously played for CSKA and won the Gagarin Cup in 2023. That season was the player's debut in the KHL, and he started it at Avangard Omsk, after which he moved to the CSKA club, becoming the champion of Russia.
Last season, Christian Jaros played for Severstal, becoming the second in the Cherepovets club in terms of performance among defenders – 19 points in 44 matches.
Previously, the player played overseas in the NHL clubs Ottawa Senators, San Jose Sharks and New Jersey Devils. In total, Jaros played 94 games in the National Hockey League, scoring 14 points (1+13).
In the KHL, Jaros has 84 meetings and 31 scoring points (7+24).
