The teams showed their fighting spirit from the very first minutes. Power struggles, skirmishes and emotions - all these indispensable elements of the playoffs were enough. But there weren't many scoring chances on either side. In the second period, the game opened up, and there were more dangerous attacks. The opponent actively pressed, and several times Ivan Prosvetov saved our team. The confident play of the goalie, as it often happens, gave the team a strong impetus. In the third 20 minutes, CSKA found its chances and skillfully took advantage of them. Kirill Dolzhenkov hit a great shot that left the goalie no chance for a save. And then Ivan Drozdov upset his former team again, scoring his 150th point in the KHL. The Army Men could have scored more and decided the game beforehand, but there was no easy ending. The guests scored one puck, and our players defended a minimal lead until the final seconds. CSKA managed to do it, and took their second win in the series.
