The CSKA Hockey Club has once again participated in the KHL Hockey Lesson project. The main CSKA team hockey players visited this time school #2065 - forward Vladislav Kamenev and goalkeeper Dmitry Gamzin.
About 700 students gathered in the school's assembly hall. Together with the CSKA players, the students watched the "The Universe of Hockey" cartoon and talked about all kinds of topics. Each student received the "ABC of the KHL" and an autograph from a CSKA hockey player. The club's mascot, the Horse, and the CSKA support group also took part in the hockey lesson.
— It was great! I didn't expect so many children to gather. We need to hold such events even more often. It popularizes our sport, our team. I think everyone from our team is always happy to respond to such an offer. I was given a gift — these are wishes written on paper. It's really nice, they put "Best Player" on the puck, I took it for myself (laughs).
Dmitry Gamzin, CSKA goalkeeper:
- It was fun, talking to the kids, telling them hockey stories. I remembered the school atmosphere, and strict teachers here too, I remember my own. The nostalgia is present. What's my favorite lesson? I don't know, I think I enjoyed geometry.
