CSKA traded the rights to defender Nikita Okhotyuk from Torpedo

CSKA traded the rights to defender Nikita Okhotyuk from Torpedo. In return, the Nizhny Novgorod club received the rights to striker Mikhail Abramov and monetary compensation. 

Abramov is 23 years old and currently he plays for the Springfield Thunderbirds AHL club. The striker is a trainee of the CSKA Hockey School, and has been playing in North America since 2018. 

The 23-year-old Okhotyuk spent last season in the NHL, played 43 games and scored 8 (1+7) points for the San Jose Sharks club, and also scored one assist in nine meetings with the Calgary Flames. The defender is a graduate of the Traktor Chelyabinsk school and has been performing in North America since 2018. He was called up to national age-group teams and captained the Russian junior team at the 2017 Glinka-Gretzky Cup.
