CSKA lost in Helsinki

Jokerit - CSKA 5:2

Game in Helsinki started promisingly for CSKA. In the second minute Anton Slepyshev got a puck from Nikolai Goldobin, got through Jokerit's defence and easily beat the goalkeeper. The Finns were not discouraged by this goal and had couple of good chances to even the score, but young CSKA goalie Vsevolod Skotnikov didn't make any mistakes.

In the second period Jokerit had five minutes of glory, when the team scored three times in a row and took a lead. First Peter Regin scored, then Niklas Jensen sent puck to the net in power play, and later Pakarinen was first on rebound and made it 3:1.

In the third period CSKA twice had power play, but struggled to benefit from it. This is not the first time in the season, when Army team has problems in power play. After this there were not many chances to come back, and in the end Jokerit scored twice in the empty net. CSKA returns to Moscow after two straight defeats.
