The design of the home jersey for the anniversary season is inspired by the classic army jerseys of the late 1970s and first half of the 1980s. That era established the iconic CSKA hockey look that defined the franchise's identity for decades: red base, dark blue shoulders, stars, white and blue stripes and, most importantly, a large army star with the inscription CSKA on the chest.
Historical elements have been given a modern interpretation. The central star has been given a three-dimensional appearance, with gold embroidery highlighting its outline and details, reflecting the grandeur of the club's history, while the familiar letters "CSKA" have been given additional volume by a dark blue shadow.
This is a connection between generations between those who forged the glory and history of CSKA, and those who continue and honor it today.
