CSKA repeated the contract offer made by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl to striker Matvey Guskov, who was in the status of a restricted free agent.
The 22-year-old player is a graduate of the CSKA Hockey School. In the 2020/21 season, he made his debut for the club's main team and won two Gagarin Cups. In total, he played 87 matches in the KHL and scored 17 (6 +11) points.
