CSKA traded Blazhievsky for Abramov

CSKA and Traktor exchanged, as a result of which defender Artem Blazhievsky went to Chelyabinsk, and forward Vitaly Abramov joined the army club.

This season, the 23-year-old Abramov played 41 games in the KHL and scored 17 points (8 + 9). Forward is a pupil of Chelyabinsk ice hockey. He started his career at Polar Bears (MHL). In 2016, he was selected in the NHL Draft in the 3rd round under the overall 65th pick by Columbus. In North America he played for Cleveland (AHL), Belleville (AHL), Ottawa (NHL). From 2015 to moving to Traktor in 2021, the forward earned 395 (172 + 223) points.

Artem Blazhievsky has earned 7 (2 + 5) points in 34 regular season matches this season. The defender has played for the army team since the 2015/16 season. Together with the team, Artem won the Gagarin Cup in the 2018/19 season. In total in the League, Blazhievsky played in 374 matches and scored 71 (19 + 52) points.
