Sergey Fedorov: I think we showed good hockey

CSKA's head coach summed up the match in Magnitogorsk.

— A good, fast game. I think we showed good hockey. The puck didn't go into the goal cage — so the team didn't deserve it to go there anyway. We had two ridiculous goals: during the first one, we allowed the striker to attack behind the back, whereas during the second one we failed to catch quite an unusual redirect. I liked the game of our team, we had changes in the composition due to certain insidious diseases. Congrats to Metallurg on their victory, we have gained tremendous experience, we will draw conclusions, and we will move on.

— The players staying in the hospital are a well-known fact, but what about the coaches?

— As for the coaches, I will say one thing: the guys are ill, they have a fever.

— How much do you care about the competition on the table with the St. Petersburg CSKA players? Or are you more concerned about the teams that are breathing down your back?

— Neither. To be honest, I'm worried about the "contents" of our game. There will always be a win if the "contents" match the actions on the ice. The table is good, we have recently passed exactly half of the championship, so there is still a long road in the dunes, as I say sometimes. We are concentrating more on our actions, due to the illnesses of the guys, some of them are just on the road to recovery, here we have "extra" work, that's what we are working on.

— Aleksandr Sharychenkov played in the last matches. Have you been saving Adam Reideborn for Magnitogorsk?
— I don't think we had easy games before. This is the plan of our goalkeeping coach, Sergey Ivanovich Naumov, in this regard, everything is normal.
