— Fast, intense game. We overslept the beginning. The guys all understand that today the opponent played aggressively, especially at the beginning. Nevertheless, we returned to the game in the second period, scored a good goal on the counterattack. Yes, we missed a curious goal. I thought the chances were on our side. There was good movement, puck control. In the end - it's nerves, too much of desire — we will remove it. Congrats to our team with a victory, the opponent was very worthy today. We will play against SKA many more times, so we will be happy until 12 at night and tomorrow is a new working day.
— CSKA made two shots on goal in the first period. Have you adjusted the game plan?
— There are a couple of points that we addressed to the guys. Not everyone started the first period intensively. On the bench, they also tried to correct the moments of intense play. Not everything worked out, but in the second period we rolled into the game. Probably got used to the speeds a little bit, the rink is smaller here. Mostly we play on others, we lacked the speed of making quick decisions. After all, we managed to level the game in terms of team speed.
— The first victory of the season over an important opponent. Is it important psychologically?
— I think when you play against the leaders of the KHL, such victories are always important in any component. We played at home, but lost in overtime. We got four goals here in the last game, which is unusual for our team. In all these aspects, it is an important, hard victory. There were a lot of emotions, there were a lot of falls — this is a huge, useful experience. We are glad that we found the way to the goal and scored an important goal.
