Sergey Fedorov: Our task is to support the winning aura that our fans give

The head coach of CSKA spoke about the state of the team before the playoff series against Lokomotiv.

— We had a day off after the series with Severstal. Today we had a regular training session, walked through certain positions in our collective game. On the rollout, we will work out other points that we did not have time to do today. We are preparing in casual mode, the mood is good. Victories give us strength. Lokomotiv is a familiar opponent, we know their style of play.

— In the CSKA and Severstal series, a record was set for performance. CSKA scored a lot, but also missed. Was there a separate conversation with the guys on this topic?

— The guys already understand that missing a lot is the wrong trend. Nevertheless, the series turned out the way it did. We pay attention to this, we constantly remind certain fundamental things that help us play defensively and in the middle zone. Let's start from the fact that we need to tighten concentration and attention to the execution of elements that will help us play more solidly in defense.

— Is there any understanding on the timing of Christian Yarosh's return?

— He is recovering, undergoing procedures that may soon give us something to think about.

— Recently, there have been full stands at CSKA matches both at home and away, a lor of CSKA fans will probably go to Yaroslavl. Does this support affect the team?

— This is a very positive factor. It is customary for all hockey players to play with full stands, especially when they are rooting for you. It's great. Our task is to support the winning aura that our fans give.
