The army forward spoke about his debut match for the red and blue in the KHL, working with Sergei Fedorov and explained why he did not swim in the sea after the game.
-You moved to CSKA less than a month ago. How do you like on the team?
- The team is absolutely cool. Everyone knows what to do. All professionals here. Nobody forces anyone, the coaching staff behaves calmly, trusts the players, and we do our job - this is the most important thing. It is very pleasant to work in such a team.
- Did you manage to make friends with someone in the team?
- I have been performing at the KHL level for several years now and I know many. Of course, we communicate. The guys are encouraging and helping.
- How do you work under the leadership of Sergei Fedorov?
- He played at a very high level. Now Sergei Viktorovich has a new stage in his life, in which hockey players must help him. He trusts us, helps us. Much already depends on us. We must bring results so that our coach has peace of mind and he gets pleasure from the team's performance.
- In the match against “Sochi”, you spent 13 minutes on the ice. Do you feel the trust from the coaching staff?
- Now it's difficult to say, everything depends only on us. A coach trusts if we prove our place in the squad by playing. CSKA has a big system, if you don't show yourself, others will come. For this reason, it is necessary to show a good game from match to match and earn the confidence of the coach.

- I asked how I felt and praised for a good game.
- How do you yourself assess this meeting?
- In general, the match went well. There were moments for goals. We acted well with our “troika”.
- You have already played at the youth level for CSKA earlier.
- From 11 to 13 years old I played for the club. Then we had a coach, Igor Vladimirovich Grishin. I moved to CSKA from “Krylia Sovetov”. Now the team has guys from the army club system, with whom we played together. CSKA means big ambitions, always first places, there is tough competition in which you always need to progress.
- In Sochi, everyone walks, rests. How does it feel when everyone is relaxed around and you came to play a match?
- It all depends on how I'm set up. We already had our vacation. Each of us is used to our work. It's just a pleasant mood, the sea here, good weather. But we have our own tasks, we need to win and only go forward.
- The local task is completed – “Sochi” has been beaten. Did you manage to swim in the sea after that?
- No, I don't want too much relaxation. We came here to play and other teams are waiting for us, which also need to be won.
