Hockey club CSKA Moscow completed a trade with Dynamo Minsk, acquiring the rights to defenseman Alexander Rusakov. The Belarusian club received forward Rhett Gardner and cash compensation.

Rusakov, 18, spent two seasons in the MHL with Dynamo-Shinnik. In 59 games, he recorded 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) with a plus-11 rating.

Gardner, 30, joined CSKA Moscow last year. He played 74 games for the Army Club in the 2025-26 season.
