Legendary CSKA and national team forward and member of the Army Club's supervisory board, Pavel Bure, was awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland," 3rd class, by decree of the President of Russia.
Pavel Vladimirovich was honored for his significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, as well as for his many years of dedicated work.
Bure won the USSR championship as part of CSKA, and for the national team – the World Championship, silver and bronze medals at the Olympic Games. For his achievements, he was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame and the Toronto Hockey Hall of Fame.
