The KHL has presented the calendar for the 2025/26 season. Each team will play 68 games in the regular championship.
CSKA open the season on September 6 with a home matchup against Dynamo Moscow. Next, the army team hosts Lada Togliatti at the CSKA ARENA on March 20; this game wraps up the regular season for our team.
The playoffs take place from March 23 to May 23, 2026. The first round kicks off according to the standard format within conferences, and the second one turns into a cross-format.
Before the first break for the Channel One Cup, the teams will play 94 days in a row. The break lasts from December 8 to 15. The New Year's break is packed into three days - from December 31 to January 2. The latest break is due for the Hockey Stars Week from February 6 to 9, 2026. Of note, the KHL championship will not be paused due to the Olympics for the first time.
