CSKA Moscow forward Marat Khairullin summarized the game against Dynamo
– That game was pure drama, how you guys were able to turn things around in such a tough game?
It wasn't easy, but you guys showed real character and team effort to turn the game around. What clicked for you out there? They stepped it up in the second and third periods. It's good to get the win.
- The game was tied 3-3 after two periods, and the third period went scoreless. Do you think teams are playing a more buttoned-up game lately, or is it just a coincidence?
– Not at all, we controlled the play, generated plenty of offense. We just couldn't cash in on our opportunities. But I think we dictated the play.
- What’s the room like after a run like this? Do you feel like you've finally found your game, the one you were looking for at the start of the season?
We have things to work on. With every game and every practice, we’re cleaning things up and building on our game. Winning is always great, and it definitely builds positive vibes in the room.
