CSKA forward Maxim Sorkin shared his impressions of the first days of the training camp in Minsk.
– We are currently in the induction phase, without extreme workloads. I skated in the summer, got on the ice at the beginning of July, and gradually got used to it so that I could face the training camp in good shape. We have already met all the newcomers to the team somewhere before, mainly in the national team. We're getting to know each other, developing chemistry.
– You've already seen Igor Valerievich Nikitin coaching at CSKA. Do you remember what he wanted to see? Has it changed?
– I think that, in general, he has been running the same system for those years. Perhaps only some details are constantly being tweaked. I'm excited to get to play for Igor Valerievich. I like everything.
– What do you expect from the team in the coming season?
– What expectations can there be? We have a goal, and everyone knows it, and we must strive for it. So we will work to achieve it.
