After the match against SKA, CSKA forward Maxim Sorkin answered questions from journalists:
– SKA is a good opponent, a skillful one." We were coming off two losses, so we knew we had to skate away with the win, and that's exactly what we did.
Losses are a learning experience. The previous loss to Avtomobilist was a bit of a wake-up call for us.
My goal was a total team effort, from the goalie all the way up to the forwards. Saw the point shot, tipped it, buried it.
The first two periods were good, but the third one didn’t count. It’s good that our penalty kill started clicking.
