CSKA forward Maxim Mamin answered questions about the match against Dynamo.
– Of course I wanted to get that first goal back with CSKA, so I’m really happy, and the boys all congratulated me. It feels twice as good to score in a win. On that play, Jeremy saw me all alone in front of the net and made a great pass. Lucky bounce for me, the puck went off my stick and over the goalie.
It’s tough to play when there are so many penalties both ways, just a seesaw game. It’s great that the boys weathered the storm when they needed to and locked down the win. It’s great that we’re on a winning streak, but every game we start fresh with a clean slate.
