Yegor Zamula: I pick up with every practice

CSKA defender Yegor Zamula spoke about how preseason training is going for him.

- You haven't played in Russia for a long time. Is it difficult to get used to the training process now compared to North America?

– I’ve never played in the KHL, so both the guys and the coaching staff give me advice and break down all the details with me. I pick up with every practice, I feel better both physically and mentally. There are a lot of new things where I haven't got my legs yet, and some I didn’t even know about.

– Have you followed the KHL? Do you understand what kind of hockey they play here?

- Yes, I still followed certain teams, watched the playoff games, the Gagarin Cup final. In principle, hockey is the same everywhere, the main thing is to play well as a team.

– CSKA has players from your hometown – Chelyabinsk. Did you know anyone before this?

- Yes, I played with Nikita Okhotyuk at the Traktor school, and I know both Nikita Nesterov and Denis Zernov. In America I played with Denis Guryanov, I also know Klim Kostin. When I moved here, I already knew half the team, so it was easier for me to fit in.
