CSKA Moscow signed defenseman Yegor Zamula for three years, through the 2028-29 season.
In Russia, Zamula played his junior hockey for Traktor and Metallurg Magnitogorsk, but spent his entire professional career in North American leagues. The 26-year-old played 188 NHL games with Philadelphia and Columbus, scoring 43 points (8 goals, 35 assists).
Internationally, Zamula played for the Russian national team, representing his age group. In 2020, he won silver at the World Junior Championship.
