CSKA forward spoke about his debut in the KHL.
— What were your first emotions from the debut, from playing for the main team?
— I am certainly glad that I was given such a chance. Every player strives for this. Coming out in a jersey — it's an incredible feeling. I just want to express my gratitude to the management and coaching staff of CSKA for their trust.
— First puck in the KHL - with the first shot. What was it like from your position?
— It's simple. My teammates got me on a great shot. I tried to shoot past the defender and the goalie into the goal - I'm happy I did it.
— I saw you talking with Poltapov on the bench. What advice did the seniors give?
— They prompted more on chances in your own and the middle zone. It's all hockey trivia, I asked questions and got answers. It helped a lot not to fall out of the game. The opponent was still very serious.
— You're a leader in the Red Army, was it hard to rebuild for the KHL?
— Hockey is different here, the price of a mistake increases, you need to act quickly. But thanks to the team, everyone cheered me on the bench, it was nice to play. Invaluable experience!
— A few words about the MHL Challenge Cup. What are the emotions of such a special day?
— It's just nice to have been called out there. A good event, a cool atmosphere, only positive emotions.
