The CSKA defenseman shared his feelings about the victory against SKA and about his offensive game.
- How do you feel after beating SKA?
- I have a great feeling. It's an Army derby, it's nice to win in a game like that. We knew we were in for a tough game. But we wanted to play well before the break; we did a great job. And now we are happy that we won.
- When did you learn that you will play in the attack?
- I found out about the change in the lineup during the warm-up. Offensive game made me happy. It made my day, I'm happy and excited.
— When was the last time you played the offensive game?
- It was before the pandemic, I played one offensive game in the NHL and one game in the AHL. It was the same situation there, a player got injured in the last minute and they put me in.
- Forward Sergei Fedorov in Detroit played as a defenseman. You played the offensive game. What is more difficult?
- It's a different story. You can't tell at once what's harder. It depends on the game. And I respect all forwards, they have a difficult job.
- Who is your favourite forward?
- Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid. They're the best in the world.
- If you score at least one goal as a forward, you will be ahead of Crosby and McDavid in goals for your KHL career.
- That's a very good aim!
