CSKA goalkeeper Dmitry Gamzin summed up the game against the Neftekhimik. – During the penalty shot, I didn't try anything out; I played intuitively. Frankly, the opponent didn't come up with anything interesting either, so I played as I should have, and everything worked out.
– Was it difficult to quickly get into the mood for the penalty shot when there were only a few seconds left before the break?
– Not really. I don't even really look at the scoreboard. The goalkeeper coach asks to be distracted from the game as little as possible and to concentrate completely on it. I didn't know how much time was left until the end.
– Besides the penalty shot, were there any difficult moments when you had to try harder?
– I'd say that everything was quite moderate.
– Is this due to good defensive play?
– Yes, sure. The guys blocked many shots and didn’t give the opponent much of a chance to create anything dangerous.
