A solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the National Sports Award 2024, organized by the Ministry of Sports of Russia, took place in Moscow. The participants and guests of the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Sports of Russia Mikhail Degtyarev, as well as leading athletes of the country, legends of Russian sports, heads of all-Russian sports federations, famous artists.
Boris Mikhailov, Honorary President of PHC CSKA, two-time Olympic champion, eight-time world champion, won the nomination "Epoch in Sports". The Expert Council of the award noted Boris Petrovich in the category "For many years for the benefit of development in the country". His total work experience in the field of physical education and sports is 54 years.
