The 24-year-old hockey player is a graduate of a CSKA school. In 2017, as part of the Red Army, he won the Kharlamov Cup, in 2020, together with Zvezda, he won the regular season and the gold medals of the Major Hockey League. He has 78 games in the KHL for the main team of CSKA, in which he scored 6 (1 + 5) points and a +8 utility indicator.
Chmykhov spent last season on loan at Severstal.
