CSKA players held their first training session.
The CSKA team began preparing for the new KHL season, which starts on September 1 with the Opening Cup match between CSKA and Magnitogorsk Metallurg. The day before, our hockey players underwent an in-depth medical examination and together with several thousand fans took part in honoring the team, and also received gold medals and a cup for winning the Russian championship.
On Monday, the players held their first training session at the CSKA Arena. The team will train in Moscow until August 4. After that, CSKA will go to Minsk for a two-week training camp, where it is planned to hold two friendly matches against Dinamo Minsk (August 14) and Admiral (August 19).
After returning from Minsk, the CSKA team will continue their training in Moscow, within the framework of which they will hold a friendly match against Spartak (August 23), and will also take part in the traditional Moscow Mayor's Cup from August 25 to 28.
