The CSKA striker talks about returning to the ice, a comeback with "Vityaz" and preparing for "Avangard".
— It was a very productive match yesterday. What happened during the five minutes of the first period? It seemed that before and after they played with an overwhelming advantage.
— We continue to have problems with the start of the match. We work, we talk. I hope this will not happen again, as it is not permissible. It's hard enough to pull out of games 0-3. It's good that it turned out yesterday, they showed the character. But we are unhappy with the first period.
— The match with "Vityaz" was the first after returning to the ice. Tell me about your health now?
— It's always the pause that knocks you out of your rhythm a bit. Some things worked out, some didn't, but overall I think it was a good game. I will add more.
— There were serious changes in the team list. Three more young players from the CSKA system were added. Two of them officially debuted for the first time. How would you rate their game?
— Yesterday we congratulated Matvey Vasin on his first puck and today we did, too (laughs). The players did well, they played confidently for the first match. I don't think there was any excitement from them. We hope for them further, we have a lot of injuries, the players are good!
- Ahead is a more important challenger - "Avangard". We haven't played with them yet this season, the team has changed. What game are you waiting for tomorrow?
— I will say that this season, in general, all the teams have become equal. All the matches are quite difficult. We have problems in our game, we need to work on it, eliminate them. We try to think more about ourselves than about the challenger.
— Considering the changes in the team list. How should you act tomorrow to achieve a positive result?
— I repeat, the young players quickly understood everything. Of course, tomorrow the challanger will be faster and more organized. This game is a good test for us. We will work on the mistakes after yesterday's match and everything will work out.
