The goalkeeper of the CSKA team, Pyotr Andreyanov, was among the most promising players born in 2007, according to Anton Vasyatin, a commentator on KHL channels and an expert on the official website of the JHL.
This season, Andreyanov, who continues to play for the CSKA Hockey School, made his debut in the JHL and played 20 games, in which he won nine victories (91.6% SV, 3.04 GAA).
The expert noted:
— In the 2023/2024 season, the Red Army underwent a major roster upgrade. Many guys, players born in 2006, began to perform on a regular basis. It is this generation in CSKA that has always been noticeable throughout the country. Another important part of the renewed team was the even younger goalkeeper Pyotr Andreyanov, who was born in 2007. In the 2023/2024 season, the goalkeeper played 20 matches and won nine of them. Andrei Filonenko's club record (29 games for the Red Army in the 2011/2012 season) will no longer be reached, but it is unlikely that it was Andrei's goal. Andreyanov is often the main goalkeeper in matches for the Russian junior national team of his age. The only question is: when will he get a similar role in the JHL team? It is possible that it will happen already in the 2024/2025 season.
