Russian Olympic team won against Switzerland, Tolchinsky got two assists

In its final game at Deutschland Cup in Krefeld, Russian Olympic team got a shootout win over Switzerland.

Sergei Tolchinsky, the hero of Russians last game against Slovakia, had the chance to open the scoring in first minutes of the game but Swiss goalie stopped Russian forward. Despite that, Tolchinsky has found his way to write down his name in the scoresheet, assisting Bryukvin.

In the second Alpines managed to tie the game, but Ilyin put Russians on the lead again.

In the third Swiss team scored tow goals but Russians tied the game at 57-minute mark – again thanks to Tolchinsky’s assist. OT hadn’t helped to upbring a victor, and in the shootout Galimov’s shot brought victory to Russian team.

Unfortunately, Russia couldn’t defend its Deutschland Cup winner title, finishing only third. But the tournament was quite a success for Sergei Tolchinsky who scored 4 (2+2) points in 3 games.
