A meeting of the coaching council was held at the CSKA Hockey School today, at which the name of the new head of the CSKA school was announced. Denis Denisov, the club's sports director, introduced Kirill Pafifov, who has extensive experience in hockey management, to the coaching staff and administration.
Last season, CSKA HS won the All-School Championship of the city of Moscow for a record seventh time in a row, and the team born in 2009 also became the winner of the Russian championship. Many graduates of the school play for all three professional teams of the club system: CSKA, Zvezda and the Red Army.
