Two CSKA Hockey School students called up to Russian U-17 national team

The training camp of the Russian U17 junior national team has started in the Novogorsk Sports Center. 28 hockey players, including two representatives of the CSKA Hockey School, have been called up to prepare for the tournament in Minsk to be held on February 5-8. The CSKA club will be represented at the tournament by defender Leonid Ivanov and forward Bogdan Yakushevsky. In addition, Viktor Petrov, a physical training coach and teacher at the CSKA HS, joined the coaching staff of the national team. 

The training plan includes classes on ice, in the gym and game hall, as well as control matches against the Russian national U18 team, which is also preparing for the Cup of the Future in Novogorsk. On February 4, the juniors will travel to Minsk, where they will begin their performance at the Cup of the Future a day later. Detailed information about the participants and the tournament schedule will be announced additionally.
