CSKA defender Dmitry Samorukov had a meeting with young CSKA members playing for team'2013. Dmitry, who himself is a CSKA Hockey School student, told the children about his hockey path from childhood and about the main moments of his professional career, and gave them advice on how to succeed in sports.
An interesting story from Dmitry: once at school, he persuaded the coach to put him in the position of a central striker, being sure that he would be able to play well on it. But in the end, he could not win any of the ten faceoffs, and had fewer scoring chances in attack than in the defender position. After that, he no longer experimented with changing his playing role.
