First game was very unsuccessful for Anders Lindbäck, so today Tikhomirov Andrei was the starting goalie for Torpedo. He played better and made some good saves but was unable to stop the defending champion. In the first period CSKA scored twice: Pavel Karnaukhov was good in breakaway and Mikhail Grigorenko scored in power play.
In the second period Mario Kempe had two great chances but Tikhomirov and crossbar were against him. Torpedo tried to come back and the biggest chance was in the third period when goalie Ilya Sorokin couldn’t save the net but defender Alexey Marchenko blocked dangerous shot. In the end of the game Kirill Kaprizov scored emptynetter.
CSKA again won 3:0 and made another step to the second round of the playoffs.
