OT loss in Nizhny Novgorod

CSKA lost to Torpedo 3 seconds before the end of OT.

CSKA started the game very physical and forced opponents to commit fouls. Retribution was almost instant – Grigorenko scored on a PP after no-look feed from Kaprizov.

Torpedo tied the score in 2nd period. Zhafyarov made the shot split second before he was crushed by Tolchinsky and puck went right into the top corner of the net.

In third period both teams had not a lot of chances so the game's fate had to be decided in OT. CSKA had to start it with one man less than Torpedo, but successfully killed the PK. Dramatic actions took place at last seconds of extra period. Vey had all the chances to end it, but hit the crossbar. And in following odd man rush Bocharov scored GWG just three seconds before the horn. 2-1 Torpedo.
