Because there is no time for training. I am happy for these acquisitions. The game will show, but at the moment the guys are coping with their task.
— Carnivals, or victories, like today? I like the victories, both in that and in the other component. But, if you can decipher, my hockey, as I see it, as our coaching staff wants to see it, is progressive movement forward, that is, as our great coaches said: "Make the result in the first period, and play as you want," but unfortunately, we are not in the Soviet Union, we live in the modern world. The generation of hockey players is changing.
— We proceed from what we have, without detracting from any absolutely advantages of either that era or today's era. Therefore, carnivals are canceled, we can and should play our own hockey, which brings results, and everyone enjoys it. I am sure there is not a single player among us who would not enjoy when we play correctly, really work and enjoy the game, all for each other with a single fist. Therefore, I think we are canceling carnivals after all. But such games, if we win, and God forbid they will not be so often in our performance, this is also a great experience to go through. — In general, CSKA probably deserved to win. Of course, we didn't want to give it away, but we played incorrectly in overtime. And so, the guys are also good fellows, they spent a lot of effort, they fought in the minority. There weren't many chances in the attack, but we were able to squeeze out what we got.
